A Hot Mix Plant (HMP), also known as an asphalt mixing plant, is a facility that produces hot mix asphalt (HMA) for road construction and repair. The plant combines aggregates, sand, filler (like stone dust), and bitumen (asphalt binder) in precise proportions, heats them to a specified temperature, and then mixes them to produce the hot mix asphalt. This material is then transported to construction sites for paving roads, highways, parking lots, and other surfaces.
